Changing or removing what you added

2 minutes

Once your square is on the wall, it stays as you made it. To change it or take it down, the person who made the wall can do that for you, and the magic link brings you back to it from anywhere.

Before it opens

Can you change your square? Not once it is sent: the wall keeps every square as it arrived, so nothing shifts under the people adding after you. If you want another go, write to the person who made the wall. They can remove your square from their page for the wall, and you can add a new one with Add yours. The person it is for never sees what was taken down, and nobody is told.

After it opens

The same holds after the open, with one difference: the person it is for may already have seen your square, and may have replied to it. A square with a reply under it is part of a conversation now, so think twice before asking for it to go.

Finding your way back

On the card after you add, leave your email under Keep track of this. The mail it sends has one link, the magic link. Tapping it signs you in on that device with the name you gave, and every square you made from that device comes with you. From then on you can find your square again from any device, and you hear when the person opens the wall or replies to you.

If you added by replying to an email, the confirmation that comes back has the same link: See the wall, or Change it.

A second square

Some walls take more than one square from each person. On those, the card after you add has Add another.
